Charlotte's Bio
Dr Charlotte Keating is a Clinical Psychologist with a PhD in Neuroscience.
She works in Private Practice in Mosman and Sydney's CBD. As a passionate advocate for everyone's mental health, Charlotte works with people across the life span (upwards of 10 years old).
Charlotte provides support in relation to issues including: anxiety (panic, generalised worry, social anxiety), mood, neurodiversity (ADHD, ASD), grief and loss, bullying, self-esteem and confidence, identity, life transitions (including perimenoapuse), separation and divorce and parenting support. Modalities include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution focused therapy, Motivational interviewing and Family Systems approaches.
As an experienced and versatile keynote speaker, Charlotte connects with audiences with compassion and warmth to deliver evidence-based clinical and neuroscientific insights on ways to improve and enhance individual, and organisational wellbeing.
Charlotte contributes as a media spokesperson and mental health advocate on television, radio, podcast and print media on wide-ranging mental health and wellbeing issues.
Charlotte obtained her PhD in Neuroscience relating to mood, body image, and eating disorders from Monash University in 2011 before completing her Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Swinburne University of Technology. She has been a Board Member and an Associate Editor at the international scientific Journal, Neuroscience & Biobehavioural Reviews. Charlotte is a member of the Board of Directors at The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, and The World Congress on Family Law & Children's Rights, and an Advisory Board member at Dolly’s Dream.

You can work with Charlotte in-person at her private practice or go for a walking session, or have a session online. Charlotte offers in-person appointments in Mosman and Sydney's CBD.
Charlotte works with people across the lifespan (upwards of 10 years old). Her approach is very much client-centred.
Charlotte uses evidenced based approaches including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution focused therapy, Motivational interviewing and Family Systems approaches.

As a spokesperson and mental health advocate on television, radio, podcast and print media, Charlotte speaks on wide-ranging mental health and wellbeing issues.
Charlotte is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist for Channel 9's The Today Show hosted by Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo.
Charlotte was the Resident Psychologist on ABC Radio Show 'Afternoons' and contributes regularly on ABC's Radio National, Life Matters, program.
She has been featured in the ABC series, My Year 7 Life.

ADVISORY BOARD
Charlotte is an Advisory Board Member at Dolly's Dream.
Dolly's Dream is focused on addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people, parents and educators, especially in rural, regional and remote Australia.
Charlotte provides expert clinical advice to the Advisory Board and offers clinical support and insights for the development of Dolly's Dream programs and partnerships, including the Dolly's Dream Support Line
BOARD DIRECTOR
Charlotte is a Member of the Board of Directors at The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
The Foundation advocates for a child’s right to be safe. The Foundation is a leader in policy advocacy, and a service provider developing and delivering care programs and direct assistance to support children who have experienced trauma, as well as a school programs assisting kids to be positive digital citizens.
Charlotte contributes a governance role, as well as being the Board's clinical advisor.
